What is the date of the next Festival?
2014 Surrey International Film Festival will be taking place on November 1 at the Surrey Arts Centre and November 14th at the New Surrey City Hall in Surrey Central.
Who can attend the Festival?
This year’s festival is open to everyone from everywhere! The Film Festival will be hosting various filmmakers from around the world, and the general public is invited to come out and celebrate the art of storytelling. Can I buy tickets?
The 2014 Surrey International Film Festival screenings and awards gala are all free to the general public.
When are the Official Selections announced?
The Official Selection will be announced on the Festival’s website in October of 2014.
When is the Screening Schedule for the Official Selection available?
The Screening schedule with the dates and venues of the screenings of selected films is downloadable on the website two weeks before the opening of the event.
What can I expect at this year’s festival?
This year’s festival will feature Master Classes with independent artists and industry professionals for those interested in filmmaking. The general public is invited to take part in these classes, there is no charge for the classes but registrants must register on a first come first serve basis. This year’s film festival is open to short films from around the world. Expect to see short films from some of the world’s top emerging filmmakers. On the last night of the festival, there will be a black tie awards gala where the top films are awarded.
